Had the lad himself over for a day or two and tasted through the bottled 2010 vintage. Pat seems to think this is not a great vintage, he can’t wait for the 2011, but the wines are pretty stellar never the less!

Here is the cellar of one of our friends in Burgundy. Patrick is a great man who makes wines from fruit bought from friends vineyards. He makes a tiny amount of very good wine that will be here in the spring.

2012 is going to be a cracker. We have our sights on a number of producers, most of whom operate in the biodynamic realm and many are of significant note and lots more besides. We are having our first official outing to wines of Spain in March and with any luck will have some more blinding news relating to the company in a month or so. Let me know if you are headed to Angers for the Salon de Loire, or Vinisud, Vinitaly or just generally heading out to the eurozone (or whatever it will be by next month), perhaps we can meet for a pie and a pint.
