This took a lot of thinking through. The name and packaging of these wines are somewhat exuberant to say the least, but the simple fact of the matter is that the wines are terrific and this estate works organically and the wine is delicious. Talento is richly structured and more grippy than Xenysel above benefitting from a touch of Syrah, while Ego is Monastrell with a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon. This is from the oldest vines and is aged in a blend of French and Spanish Oak for 12 months. It is complex, dark and richly formed with sweet tannins and a long supple finish. It looks extraordinary, and tastes delicious.
